  • The Town Promoter has had an increased interest from volunteers wanting to work in the Visitor Information Centre. It is hoped that one of the volunteers will be able to offer a couple of hours at Ramsgate Station to welcome visitors to Ramsgate. There will be a Volunteer Recruitment Day at Radford House on 3rd February 2022.

  • A Late-Night Shopping Market will be trialled in Charlotte Court on 9th December, the Town Clerk will bring back to committee a detailed scope and the costs involved for running a market in Charlotte Court.

  • Every Ramsgate resident will now receive a copy of the Community Ad Magazine, starting from May 2022, this will be trialled for one year.

  • The granted of £1,000.00 was approved from the Ramsgate Fund to the Royal Temple Yacht Club for the purchase of Christmas lights for the boat owners.

  • Contracts were renewed for Whelband Communications (Active Ramsgate PR), Tribal Voice Communications (Active Ramsgate Tourism Consultant) and Your Heritage Ltd (Useeum App), who are commissioned to promote Ramsgate as a visitor destination.

  • The budget recommendations were put forward and the sum of £132,200.00 was agreed to be recommended to the Finance and General Purposes Committee, so it can be considered within the 2022/23 budget.
