Ramsgate Website News 16.05.2019
In March 2013, www.ramsgatetown.org was launched. It started as a news, events and town council website and has grown into so much more over the years. Many improvements and changes have been made to the website, such as a homepage redesign and an added business directory.

That month also saw the launch of the Ramsgate Town Facebook and Twitter pages. Please feel free to like and follow these to keep up-to-date with the latest news, events, announcements, new businesses etc.

The year 2014 saw the introduction of many new items for the website such as: competitions, history, interviews and online publications. The website continues to be expanded and developed beyond its original concept.

In 2015, there was the launch of the Ramsgate Town Youtube Channel and the Ramsgate Town Instagram account.

In 2017, Ramsgate Town Council also launched the Visit Ramsgate Website. This website is designed to attract visitors to the town and help them get the most out of their stay. It features blogs, up-to-date trails, interactive maps and a stunning gallery provided by local photographers showcasing the area.

Ramsgate Town Council would like to thank all visitors to the website, all the people who like and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube, and for the continued support and feedback that we have received. In total, we have a combined social media audience of just over 9,000 people.

In eight years, just over 1.2 million visitors have been to the Ramsgate Town Website, visiting just under 2.5 million times, resulting in over 6.2 million pages being viewed. This means that the average visitor to the website will visit it twice and view up to five pages per visit.

We look forward in the future to interacting more with businesses to help promote them and to encourage them to advertise on the website, and also look to do even more to promote local events.

Thank you for your continued support of the Ramsgate Town and Visit Ramsgate websites.
