The bowls club has reopened with guidelines from Bowls England regarding COVID-19.
We hope to be in a position to accept new members and offer coaching this year. Visitors are allowed in to the Bowls Club from the end of May if COVID-19 guidelines do not change in the long term.
Bowling is a fun sport for any level of fitness. No, you do not have to be retired to play! We are open at the weekends and on Friday nights (subject to club members’ availability). The club is open daily from 10am closing at 5pm. Again, subject to COVID-19, visitors are welcome to pop down to watch play. A list of our matches is on the club’s public Facebook page. All are welcome. There’s nothing like sitting in our grounds in the sun watching a match.
The club is pleased to announce we will be holding our annual tournament this year from August 1 to 8. We have a fun time planned with a number of competitions for bowlers. We serve refreshments over the week for players and spectators. Come in and see our specials board and what goodies we have in our marquee.
