Winter has well and truly arrived, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to see or do – although the temptation is to stay inside huddled up with the heating on, but there’s nothing better than an autumn walk to blow the cobwebs away!
We’re lucky in Ramsgate that we have some fantastic walks to choose from – the Active Ramsgate team has developed several routes over the past few years, with potentially more in the pipeline.
There’s something for everyone – a short walk around the town, a beach ramble or venturing out to the towns and cities beyond.
But don’t just take our word for it – some of the walks even have celebrity endorsement, the latest being Julia Bradbury, who came to walk from Ramsgate to Broadstairs as part of ITV’s Britain’s 100 Favourite Walks.
So for an activity that doesn’t cost anything, is fun for all the family, and can be done no matter the weather, visit
