The Miss Ramsgate Selection Event will be on Saturday March 2, 2019, this will be to select three girls to be Ambassadors for Ramsgate throughout the year. It is not a beauty pageant but a serious competition. Girls will be required to wear day wear and evening wear or prom dress.
The event is split into two parts; an informal interview with the judges in the afternoon; followed by a more formal interview with the judges in the evening, where they have to make a short speech about their favourite place in Ramsgate in front of an audience. This event is supported by the Town Mayor's Office and by Ramsgate Town Council. The selected three girls will have a busy year, but they will have a lot of fun as well.
