NOTICE OF CO-OPTION OF ONE TOWN COUNCILLOR

The Returning Officer of Thanet District Council has confirmed that the regulation 10 requests from electors have not been fulfilled and the Council can now fill the casual vacancy by co-option.

If you are interested in serving as a Town Councillor, please send a written expression of interest to the Town Clerk along with a short personal statement giving reasons why you are interested in joining the Town Council and what set of skills and experience you feel you can bring to the role.

The closing date for the written submission of interest is Wednesday 28th February 2018.

Town Councillors will consider submissions at the Extraordinary Meeting of Council to be held on Monday 12th March 2018.
