Ramsgate and Thanet are amazing destinations for visitors, holiday makers and of course our local residents, but many people are missing out on this.

You can join Ralph Hoult and his team of volunteers who spend their time promoting Ramsgate. This is carried out at the very iconic building on Harbour Parade, The Custom House, near Ramsgate's Royal Harbour. The venue is also the home of Ramsgate Town Council and formerly the Port's Custom House.

The Visitors Information Centre is open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm every day, with a short break at Christmas. There are 2 hour, 4 hour and 6 hour shifts on offer to the right people and training will be provided.

A pleasant and friendly personality is required, the ability to to engage with the public and a love and knowledge of our Town.  You need to be a team member with smart appearance, be trustworthy and honest. Experience in this work is not essential as training is given.

This is a voluntary post, your reward is helping others and promoting Ramsgate Town.  This is a great way to fill your spare time, there is no age restriction.

Make an appointment now for a chat with Ralph Hoult, who will explain what is needed. Contact Ralph Hoult on 07969 672674 or email ralphhoult@aol.com.
