Progress of Thanet's Local Plan

Local Plan Issues and Options Consultation 4th June to 14th August 2013. 

Thanet District Council are now consulting on the issues and options for Thanet’s New Local Plan. The consultation runs for 10 weeks from 4th June 2013 to 14th August 2013.

This consultation is taking place to seek your views on their proposed approach to planning for the future of Thanet.

They need to decide what level of growth is right for Thanet and how they can plan positively for that growth, through the Local Plan. There are a number of issues and options that they are asking for your comments on. This is an important part of the process and it is crucial that they get your views.

25th June, 2pm-8pm - Westwood Shopping Centre
2nd July, 2pm-8pm - Customs House, Harbour Parade, Ramsgate
4th July, 2pm-8pm - Thanet Gateway Plus, Margate
9th July, 2pm-8pm - Queens Road Baptist Church (Stone Bay Room) Broadstairs
11th July, 2pm-8pm - Minster Village Hall, Minster
