Consultation Montefiore Woodland

Ramsgate Town Council is making an application to Kent County Council for Village Green status to be applied to the Montefiore Woodland, Dumpton Park Drive, Ramsgate.

The land is owned by Ramsgate Town Council and in line with its policy of trusteeship; the Council has decided to protect the woodland from any type of development, so that it will remain in perpetuity as a publically owned amenity, available to the public for recreational purposes appropriate to a village green.
