Resignation of Councillor Munday

Home / About Ramsgate / News / Resignation of Councillor Munday

30 November 2015

Ramsgate Crest 08.02.2013
I have to announce that Councillor Vincent Munday has resigned from Ramsgate Town Council effective as from the 20th November 2015.

Councillor Munday was elected to the Town Council in the May elections and was elected within the Council as Chairman of the Finance and General Purposes Committee.

Councillor Munday has resigned for personal reasons and has left the UK to live abroad for a while.

His resignation leaves a vacancy within the Town Council and therefore should you wish to join the Town Council as a member, you should contact the Thanet District Council Electoral Returning Officer Ms M. Homer, where you will be given the necessary forms etc.

Should there be more than one candidate an election will be arranged by Thanet District Council at an appropriate time.

Yours sincerely,

Richard Styles,
Town Clerk,
Ramsgate Town Council
