09 January 2015

Eastcliff 08.01.2015
Public Meeting to be held at 11.30 am on Saturday 14 February 2015 at the Custom House, Harbour Parade Ramsgate.

ERA has not been active for a number of years but has remaining funds of £6,431. In terms of the ERA constitution it is proposed that ERA be wound up and that those funds ( after payment of the wind up costs of around £200) be transferred to:
• Friends of Ramsgate Seafront (FORS) £5231 ( plus any remaining funds left out of the £200 provision)
• Ramsgate Arts £1000

In both cases the funds are to be used for the benefit of residents of the Eastcliff of Ramsgate.
The allocation of funds is as recommended by Councillors Dave Green, Liz Green and Rick Everitt.

Any former ERA member may speak and vote at the meeting.

Anyone who has alternative proposals for some or all of ERA’s funds should contact Paul Warrick, the acting Chairperson, with details of those proposals no later than Friday 30th January. Proposals received after that date will not be considered at the meeting.
